About Madison

Madison’s unique aviation, environmental planning, and project management skills support the efforts of the Council on Sustainable Aviation Fuels Accountability (CoSAFA) as the Executive Director, and for AJW’s clients.

Madison is an expert in sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) markets and has been leading the effort to develop credible, transparent, global accounting rules for SAF. She collaborates with SAF producers, operators, and international partners across the aviation sector to develop a set of globally neutral marketplace guidelines that will support urgently needed aviation decarbonization. She is a trusted expert and speaker among stakeholders worldwide.

Prior to joining AJW, Madison spent 11 years as a Marine CH-53E helicopter pilot. As a Marine officer, she specialized in logistics, operations, and airfield management, providing her a valuable skillset that considers operational and logistical challenges within structuring SAF voluntary markets. While a student at Marine Corps University, she studied DoD strategic operational energy use, its implications, and innovative technology development processes through the Energy and Innovations Scholars Program.
