Senior Advisor, Energy Transition
Haley Armstrong is a senior advisor at AJW and co-leads our energy transition team. In this role, Haley is responsible for delivering client services, including strategic consulting, government affairs and other support activities. As part of AJW’s leadership team, she also works to shape the firm’s future capabilities.
At AJW, Haley works with industry incumbents, startups, non-profits, trade associations, and governments to advance decarbonization and grow market opportunities. She works with companies and organizations of all sizes to achieve business goals, as well as international entities aiming to enter the North American market. Haley focuses on market strategies, project support, funding identification, coalition building, strategic communications, and engagement with the government to enable client objectives.
Haley has served clients in a variety of market segments including clean energy, transportation decarbonization, clean fuels, industrial decarbonization, carbon sequestration, and enabling infrastructure across industries. Haley also works with clients to participate in carbon markets – both regulated and voluntary. Through her work, Haley maintains relationships with government agencies critical to the energy transition, such as the Department of Energy, Environmental Protection Agency, and Department of Transportation, as well as key stakeholders across industry and NGOs.
Previously, she served as the Director of Policy and Programs for the Institute of Clean Air Companies (ICAC).
