About Jo Thapa

Jo Thapa’s experience in environmental and economic policy research, business development, and international relations complements her role as the Energy Transition Associate at AJW.

Jo assists with client market research and trend analysis to develop strategic business planning. She works closely on monitoring and assessing green initiatives set out in North America and the European Union, focusing on emerging areas such as the low carbon economy, carbon emissions management, and carbon markets. Jo assists with new business development and outreach to support AJW’s consulting services.

Jo holds a double bachelor’s degree in Applied Economics and Environment Studies from Hollins University. She also participated in a leadership certificate program during her college years.
