About Haley

Haley Armstrong is a partner at AJW and co-leads our energy transition strategy team. Haley brings nearly a decade of serving AJW clients across the clean energy and cleantech industries, including multinational industry incumbents, startups, non-profits, associations, and government agencies. Based in London, Haley works with clients in Europe and North America.

Previously, Haley was a senior advisor at AJW’s Arlington, VA office, focusing on decarbonization strategies, emerging market analysis, and government engagement to help clients overcome market barriers and achieve business objectives. She has led market entry analysis and planning for multinational corporations, identified and supported government funding applications for multi-million-dollar decarbonization projects, developed decarbonization strategies for heavy industry, convened coalitions for environmental legislation negotiations, and served as an advisor to investors in the energy transition.

In 2023, Haley was selected as a Department of Energy funding application reviewer for programs under the Inflation Reduction Act and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. When she first joined AJW, she served as the director of policy and programs for the Institute of Clean Air Companies (ICAC).
