Ida Shiang joined AJW, Inc. in June 2015 as a Senior Associate. Ms. Shiang started her career in advertising as a Media Planner and Buyer, covering accounts ranging from over-the-counter drugs, pharmaceuticals, consumer-packaged goods to travel. She then moved to the non-profit sector, working for a capacity building NGO in Beijing to promote corporate responsibility in China. In order to gain a private sector perspective on corporate responsibility, she interned at Cargill, a food and agriculture company based in Minneapolis, working on its annual United Way fundraising campaign and projects for the Cargill Foundation.
While pursuing her master’s degree at Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh, Ms. Shiang interned at the Office of State Representative Erin Molchany, working on legislative research and constituent services.
Ms. Shiang has an M.S. in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon’s Heinz College and a B.S in Communication from Boston University.
