Charles Ingebretson brings decades of experience working in energy and environment policy. Charles has served more than 14 years in senior Republican staff positions with the Energy and Commerce Committee in the US House of Representatives and in several capacities in the Federal executive branch, including as head of EPA’s Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs, and as chief of staff under EPA Administrator Stephen Johnson. He participated in policymaking on a variety of issues, including the government’s response to the Supreme Court’s decision on climate change in Massachusetts v. EPA, and various other aspects of implementation of the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, and laws governing management and disposal of solid and hazardous wastes.
