Anto­nio San­tos is the Direc­tor, Spe­cial Projects, of the Man­u­fac­tur­ers of Emis­sion Con­trols Asso­ci­a­tion (MECA), a client man­aged by AJW since March 2010. MECA is a nation­al asso­ci­a­tion of com­pa­nies that man­u­fac­ture exhaust and evap­o­ra­tive emis­sion con­trol tech­nolo­gies and pow­er­train effi­cien­cy tech­nolo­gies for a range of mobile sources, includ­ing cars, trucks, bus­es, and off-road vehi­cles and equip­ment. Mr. San­tos has over 20 years of expe­ri­ence work­ing on pol­i­cy and tech­nol­o­gy issues relat­ed to reduc­ing air pol­lu­tion, includ­ing serv­ing on government/​stakeholder work­groups, giv­ing tech­ni­cal pre­sen­ta­tions, and pro­vid­ing pub­lic tes­ti­mo­ny. He has also authored sev­er­al reports on emis­sion con­trol tech­nolo­gies and on reg­u­la­tions affect­ing the emis­sion con­trol indus­try.
